Customer’s Graded Books
A recent email from a happy customer with a photo attached of the books he had received back, I wanted to share with you all. Really very happy for the customer, and truly hadn’t expected the grades to come back as highly as they did, especially happy with the end result of Sandman 1!
Recent Books
Here is a selection of some of the books I’ve worked on over the last week or so. A big thank you to all of my customers for entrusting me with your great books! A pleasure and an honour to be able to work on such gems.
🔥👀 Customers Unboxing Vid’ 👀🔥
Please take a look at this customers GCG unboxing video. Happy Days or crying into his breakfast bowl?
Severe Crease Lifted
This book had a couple of extremely deep set creases running in from the spine. Presents much nicer now!
Scuffs & Scrapes
The back cover of this ASM #9 had some numerous scuffs and one deep, dragging scrape which had gauged the surface quite badly. Was very happy with the end result.
Deep Dent Removal
This book had a number of dings, dents, scores, finger bends and creases to remove. The score line running across this part of the cover was very deep (not in a meaningful way!).
Giant Size Defenders
Love cleaning up books published in this period. Super glossy paper used gives a super rewarding finish!
Before and After of Hulk 141
May post pictures of the rest of the book at some point, the front is signed by Herb Trimpe, and really cool. Lots of surface dirt, which looks to have been caused at some point when the book has gotten wet (Note: staple rust – unfortunately there is nothing that can be done to revert the paper once rust migration has occurred!). Cleaned up quite nicely though.
Stain lightening and cover whitening.
Again, similar to the cover of the ASM 101, this back cover of ASM 43 has seen improvements from stain lightening and overall whitening of the cover to make it much more presentable. (Again, nothing has been used except for distilled water to achieve this)
